Facing Fake New

Considering all that was posted with the picture, I do not think that they made it very believable to people who would be in the least bit skeptical of online sources. Seeing this on Facebook may make a few people believe because of quick glances and the sentence with it being semi-reasonable or not too far-fetched. This flower does look different than the usual flower but there are many things that have altered their looks a bit from minor factors. Only giving a brief explanation of it makes it have very weak information because it states what possibly happened but they did not explain how or any parts of the story with it. If I was interested in finding out whether this article was true or fake news, I would research it and look at a few sites to see what their opinion is. What I found is that this is something that can happen naturally to this flower and was not the result of a large nuclear disaster.

The videos I found most interesting would be the ones titled "Fake or Real". It was very interesting seeing other peoples take on this fake news with the younger children in middle school. It was hard to believe that so many children believed fake news with no doubts and that they get most of their information from social media. It was also interesting watching the adults in the other short video trying to guess whether or not the news was fake. Some of the individuals were so sure they knew it was true because they had seen it online before but once they found out it was fake, they were shocked. People believe very easily in fake news and just from seeing it once, they believe it must be true. I do find myself believing things a little too quick sometimes with online sources and after believing the article, finding out that it was a very unreliable source. It is very important to make sure your source is reliable because in some cases, the information may be very touchy and could create fertile with others. It is a very easy and quick thing to double check your sources by scanning through a few other sites and seeing what information they have on it.
